I cannot fathom the depth of her dense sorrows. She drowned in a horror too dark for her sight. Her nightmare dragged her down to a dungeon she has not escaped. She has held onto herself for a light. She has scraped for a meal in the dark. She has gathered warmth and chased love. But her warden stands on her wings. She does not adore the warden but he guided her once and she does not forget her debt. Her burden caged her flight yet her strength is like a mellow mother reborn from the flames. She is not my people so I can never fathom her woes. But her burden that she whispered about lingers in my wrath towards God. If God does ever exist, you have failed her. You have failed to protect the best of your creation. You poured too much of thorns on her path. She deserves to fly. She is worth a sky.
