Dear Diary,
Today I will meet Bae's brother for the 1st time... We would go to a mall together and have dinner outside...
It felt so good seeing him after months... He was literally blushing 😛 So, whenever he meets me after a long time he finds me extra beautiful!! He was looking handsome too...
We won't be able to do any romance for a week though as his brother will also be there...
I made roti for them today... He praised it also...
Ps. Met his brother... Had a good first interaction. We both liked each other. Bae was making double meaning jokes and I was being sarcastic 🤣. Obviously we made sure brother was not listening at that time... I realise one thing, I find his personality very sexy and that in turn makes him very sexy to me. And he has a rugged look. That is kinda attractive to me...
Disclaimer: *boring stuff ahead. My mind is racing so I need to write it down somewhere*
My mind is hoping that my company retains me... I am hoping they don't try to negotiate again that we cannot give this much and bla bla. I already made it clear to my manager how much is the minimum amount I need. And it seems my manager really wants me in his team.
It would be 75% hike which is a problem for my reporting senior manager. That guy is cunning... And I know this much hike is never given to anyone so far... Because what if that person leaves after 4 months. Its their loss. Why am I still hoping... I can get an even better package elsewhere but I don't want to now... I am worried about my career what will happen, everything is so uncertain. I took such a big risk in my life... I resigned without having any job in hand, without even trying to get another job or applying to a new one. No sane person does that. And I am so bad at expressing...
P.s. my manager didn't ping me today for 4 possible reasons:
1. I was on leave so he didn't message me.
2. He didn't get chance to talk with sr. Manager so he didn't message me.
3. They had a discussion but it didn't go as planned.
4. They had a discussion and it went as planned.
But I now have a feeling it will be the 3rd option only. Like I can't see my sr. Manager accepting for this much hike. He is not good in that sense. He will hire someone else with a higher package but won't retain anyone.
Pt 1 is the most probable cause for not getting an update. I will get to know some info on Monday.
I have decided one thing, I am not going to help the other project team anymore. I am not billed to that project I have helped enough for free. Now I am not going to give any time to that... Even yesterday I spent 2 hours on them... And another thing I heard is that they already hired someone as a replacement. Now finally after I am resigning they hired. Means they were saving money on that resource till now.
So there are 2 senior managers. I am part of a project which comes under a client who have several other projects going on. I report to a senior manager N.D. who overviews all projects... And there is a senior manager S.P. under whom I have been working since past 4 months. So... Basically, what my manager said yesterday is that, he already had a discussion with the S.P. Now today he will talk to N.D. So, he already had a discussion so it would mean she agreed to that hike right? that's why now he will approach N.D.. Otherwise if my project only said no it won't be practical to then have a discussion with him. Right?
