I hit a stalemate with my wife. She acknowledges what happened. Doesn't want to understand my feelings. I took my wedding band off. Hard to wear a broken circle of trust and commitment. I'll bury myself under a facade of happiness for the kids, wait for them to grow up and leave the nest. Then I'll find my dark hole to live out my life in solitude and away from everyone.
