Agreed.
We all define it differently. My definition is different from your definition, and ours is different from Mr. Watt's definition. But in a way all of us three are right, because the truth and true definition is hidden somewhere between our definitions. Blessings
And you start seeing others for who THEY are and what THEY are and can become. Suddenly it is not just you anymore.
Ego means a good opinion of self and victims referred here might not have it..
You know, you undrstand, and realize it's not just you anymore, that there are others as well, you start seeing bigger picture, much bigger picture, which is much richer than the one you had before about yourself and about your life. You start seeing yourself for who and what you truly are and can become.
Ego is all about me. Ever was and always will be, because man with an ego can't know and doesn't know the truth about himself, whilst, man without an ego can and does know the truth about himself, because man without is correct thinker, feeler, and believer, man with is incorrect thinker, feeler, and believer. The more you glorify yourself, the less you know and the less you understand, the less you glorify yourself, the more you know and the more you understand, because your mind grows and so do yoir thoughts, your heart grows and so do your emotions, and your soul grows and so do your beliefs. You stop thinking, feeling, and believing of meband start thinking, feeling, and believing of we.
The victim might be so helplessly victimized, he might not have a good opinion of self at all. In most cases, a very bad opinion of self. And possibly that might be ths case for everyone.
Ego literally means a good opinion of one's self. And philosophically, it means one self or an identity.
Isn't ego more about a self's validation to existence? The victim might even be of the lowest self esteem and have a severe inferiority complex. He's just lost without an ego. Non existent. Does that mean he has a lot of me me me and a lot of ego?
