I've been pretty happy lately.
Da came over twice on May 11th and 12th since we hadn't seen each other in two weeks. I saw him again the next week on the 18th.
The other night, I suppose it was the 19th, I was getting ready to take a shower, brushing my hair, and I was thinking about my boo. The way he smiles and giggles at my stupid jokes. I started crying happy tears. Gosh, I love him so much. He's the sweetest man alive. I love how he's an open book. He shows all of his emotions. He can't stop a smile or a giggle. He can't roll his eyes and it's hilarious when he tries. His eyes turn pink/red when he's tired and he tries so hard to fight it. It's so funny to watch his eyes start to roll into sleep. He makes me smile so hard my cheeks hurt.
I love how he tells stories. He kinda rambles and tells them slowly (so you really have to pay attention) and will make gestures while he's thinking of the words. For example, he was telling me of a coworker of his and was trying to tell me he has a mustache but he forgot the word mustache. So, at the exact moment he remembered it, he stuck a finger under his nose and said mustache. It was hilarious. That was also more funny than the "punchline" of his story, to be honest. But I enjoy listening to him.
Da and I went to the store on May 11th so I could pick up a few groceries and I decided to look in the Nintendo switch aisle to see if they had the game I had been looking into getting for my nephew J. He absolutely loves playing "Cars 3: Driven to Win." I helped him learn the controls and stuff on the first day and now he's free to play on his own. I got his mother to buy a copy, too, so he can play at home and at my house.
I've been missing J a lot lately. It's really nice to have him over, especially when he behaves. Sometimes that boy has an attitude problem and I'm ready for him to go home lol.
For the past few Fridays my parents have been going to pick J up from school when it's over and, of course, he absolutely loves it. Today, I'm coming with them, but he won't know that until he sees me. He's going to be so extra excited.
Aside from Da and J, I've been playing the New Pokemon Snap a bunch. My photodex score is 1.6+ million. I'm enjoying the game but it can also be pretty frustrating trying to complete some of the requests. I finally got to use Turbo for the first time yesterday and it's a godsend.
Some of Illumina Pokemon are bullshit, honestly. The ocean/undersea pokemon? Hate it. I hate the undersea part anyway because it's so dark I can't see anything and I have to kill my switch's battery by turning up the brightness. The volcano pokemon? Super annoying.
But the Park and Forest Illumina pokemon are kinda neat.
(Spoilers)
But I'm kinda biased because the Park has a cute lil Shaymin and a Sylveon to play with.
Overall, the good has outweighed the bad in this game.
