I was in my school boarding to collect my books and stuffs. I got my stuffs and was sitting in the corridor, reading or writing. A staff, named Karthik, stoppped near me and asked what was behind me. There was actually a glass show case kinda thing with number of snakes entwined in it, which I had already noticed when I sat down to study. I stated the obvious and he was amused, probably by the situation or my reaction. Then he said, "Well, here!" And took out a snake and left it on the floor. Damn! I jolted up from my spot and backed away slowly. I actually ran further in the corridor and looked back. The snake 🐍 rose up in the place where he dropped. It was a King Cobra and a really huge one. Just by raising up half of it's body, it reached the ceiling. It was grey in color but had cream or ivory color on its face kinda area. 

I was super scared and amazed at the same time. Since this was the first time I'm seeing a snake in person, let alone a King Cobra. I kept calling out for karthik sir as I run away to the end of the corridor. He did walk next to the corridor with the same amused look but didn't help me in any way. I stop near a small pillar while the snake goes past me and pushes a person out of the corridor with its tail. I could have stepped out of the corridor too but I didn't and couldn't. The snake turned around and looked at me. 

Damn! Again. It came closer to me and I wasn't so scared but was curious about it's next move. It looked at me for sometime and raised up a little, right next to me and it changed into a girl on the upper half of the body. 

It, now she, said "Thanks for taking care of my sister. You treated her well." And that was it. I did remember the said sister but I couldn't recall the face or anything.
