Dear Diary,
If I generalize and choose what matters most, I’m clearly drawn to living, natural, and “bodily” scents rather than artificial ones.
It can be put this way:
What I love the most:
Very close to that:
As pleasure and mood:
In short, in one sentence:
Above all, I love scents that carry life, warmth, freshness, and a feeling of “home.”
I love with my nose, through scents… It may sound strange, but it really matters to me. Just like symmetry, or a beautiful, distinctive asymmetry. I experience the world through sensations. That’s why I don’t like touching people I know if they’re not close to me. I love the way my thoughts completely switch off when I breathe in the scent of a body I love. And I absolutely hate, to the point of nausea, being in the same room with someone whose smell I can’t stand.
