Dear Diary,
I went to Bengaluru and she wanted to meet me as a last goodbye. I agreed, and went to pick her up. After the 30 hours drive and a quick nap, I almost rushed to somehow reach the airport on time. Back at home, she was happy, and then the next day, I got a call from home and I was fighting my mom, because they did not like the girl as the family was rude. She too heard the fight and decided to end things too. I got angry with her too, but didn't say anything, went to lie down and think to myself and she proceeded to cook something up for me. I wanted to go and help her, but I wanted distance from her. Then she dropped a bowl, and I immediately rushed to her. That night, we had drinks(she had drinks) and she wanted to go out on a drive and have an ice-cream. It was post midnight and the only place I could think of was shell petrol pump. We drove, she had ice-cream and clearly she was tipsy. When we were back, she was a little too pleased with my behaviour.
Also, my fight with mom, made her see my point and they agreed to communicate to S' parents that they like the girl.
After few weeks, I was back at home for chhat, and it was too much work. She called at my home, and talked to my mom, aunt and uncle and everyone was so impressed with her. That night we were talking in my family, and my sister asked my parents to schedule the engagement earliest by March, since she and jiju would be too busy till then. I tried arguing, but it was pointed out that I cannot enforce each and everything. Anyways, I got them to have Feb dates since S' and her family would not prefer so delayed engagement.
It was looking do good, everyone happy with S' and please with me for finding such a nice girl as my bride.
