Dear ghost,
What I am grateful for? I am grateful for the cradle that showered me with all that they were blessed with, and of their drizzling warmth that gave me the strength to build myself. I am grateful for the laughter and music that wandered through those walls, for the constant nagging and care that taught me the resilience of close-knit bonds. I am grateful to both of them for their patience in enduring my childish ventures and unreasonable vices. It is their ties that often make me despise my indifference.

I am grateful for my dear companions who understand the essence of what makes me. Grateful that they, much like me, are left confused by life. I am thankful for my comrades who thrive in the same putrid air, knowing the weight of every letter in our shared story. I am grateful for the voices that understand my haven, as their joy are similar yet so different from mine.

There are many things I should be grateful for. I just need to be brave enough to see them and strong enough to forgive—both others and myself. Because to err is human.

Yours even as I fear to be.
