Dear Diary,

I've invented a new term for myself, "Chore child". All I've ever been to anyone is just something to be endured until you just give up. All Pa does is complain about how lazy I am and all Ma does is sit in the corner giggling and staring off into space.

Also started an open diary because why not at this point? I guess there isn't much of a point to anything so why have any reason for anything anymore? Well anyway, time to continue doing nothing.

Hey there, I understand that you're feeling frustrated and undervalued right now, but I want to offer a different perspective. While it may seem like you're just seen as a "chore child" by your parents, remember that having parents who provide for you is a blessing. The chores you're doing might feel tedious, but they're actually teaching you valuable life skills. Think of it this way: when you go off to university or start living independently, you'll be grateful for knowing how to take care of yourself and your space. Trust me, many people struggle with basic chores when they first leave home. So, try to see these tasks as stepping stones towards independence and self-sufficiency. Hang in there, and remember that your efforts now will pay off in the long run. Take care!
