“It's hard being stuck. But I think it truly sucks when you don't know where to go after having been stuck too long in the same place and it simply becomes more comfortable. Maybe that's what they mean when they tell you to step out of your comfort zone; that this isn't your comfort zone, this is just a place you've been at for so long that you've forgotten you weren't always supposed to be here. Leave it. Move on. Go someplace else.
But how? How does knowing change things? Maybe that's the first step but what's the second? How do you lift your feet up to take the next one? How high or low should it be? How far or close should it be to your previous one? How quickly or slowly should it go? Are we walking or jogging or running? How do you figure all that out?
Why don't people question things yet always seem to have an answer to give? How do I become unstuck when nobody has even asked me why I was stuck in the first place?
Is this my comfort zone? Or is this the only place I find comfort in?”
Jumbled words and feeling I had within me, coherently written by a writer called @WriterBells in Wattpad. It’s like she deciphered me.
