Dear Diary,
If you see yourself as someone
who's capable of achieving more,
and you are someone who actually does
something about it, then you are going
to achieve more.
But if you see yourself as someone
who is capable of achieving more,
and you are someone who actually does
nothing about it, then you are not going
to achieve more.
In order to achieve more, you have to do something.
You cannot expect to achieve more, if you do nothing,
and keep doing nothing. If you want to achieve it, but then
don't work on it at all, you most definitely
can't ever achieve it. In order to achieve it,
work has to be done. In order to achieve it,
you have to do EVERYTHING
that has to be done.
There's no partying, there's no procrastination,
and there's no excuses. There's only work, work, and work.
You have to do the work. That's why only rare of those who actually
make it in life.
Because they are willing to do the work,
while others aren't willing to do the work.
Because they are willing to sacrifice their free
time for their dreams, while others aren't willing
to sacrifice their free time for their dreams.
As painful as it is, it's reality. If you just sit around
and do nothing, you just keep wasting hours you have
left in a day. But if you actually do something,
like learn something new, like, learn a new skill,
then you are not wasting hours, but you are actually
taking advantage of them.
If you do nothing, you can't expect to get anything out of it.
If you think you haven't time, you're wrong. If you think you haven't time, you are absolutely wrong. But you see, the funny thing is,
those who've made it also thought they hadn't had enough time,
until the day they realized they had enough time.
If you keep wasting hours, then of course you think and feel that way.
But if you keep taking advantage of hours you have left in a day,
you think and feel completely different.
So you see, work has to be done, work has to be done on you,
work has to be done on time you have available,
and work has to be done on your dreams. Otherwise all you can
do is dream and hope you'll win the lottery and get lucky.
Real life doesn't work that way, real life is different.
Real life demands sacrifice. Real life demands your sacrifice.
If you're not willing to sacrifice things that can only
approach you close enough to your dreams,
you will never reach your dreams.
