August 15, 2022, I have loved better

Dear Diary,

Many people say that they love. I think I have loved better than many. 

My love is more giving, while others tried to only take from me. 

Many never reach there to understand it.  

I am grateful for the love I received and sad for being hurtful to many. 

But such is being human, you are never really sure what you want from this life. And you always keep running to get something you never get in this life.

I had a dream, we are on a bridge, the bridge has broken, my eyes are wide open. 

I am about to fall. 

I have a few moments before I end. Holding her hand. 

I don't have words to say, I'll now never get to see her face. 

If my soul be allowed to carry one memory, let it be this face.
