Almost all Catholic Saints kept a diary

Dear Jesus,

Okay, I know I have started over a lot many times. I have failed each time to keep a perfect streak. But that is what Christian life is. Ones and Zeroes. Ups and downs. Of course, I don't want downs but that is my sinful nature. Therefore, I am starting yet again today. I am punishing myself for my laziness in writing this diary. Every day I will carry this suffering by writing out my day in this diary. Especially following St. Ignatius's spiritual exercise of writing down my sins. Today is the feast day of Saint Alphonsa and I consecrate my life to her. My role model from today. That's why the Passion Flower is the name of my diary.
