It is not-that-kind-of-journal that i want to share. But, being anonymous and share your story publicly is way much better than tell a story to your bestie—it is safer, 100% safer.
Today i just realize that i made a ‘funny’ mistake at work.
So here the story begins, a couple days ago there are a happy family came to visit the hotel where i work. We are expecting an auditor to come to the property and audit the whole hotel, hence everyone was prepared to welcome this family.
Long short story, the family came and i did the ‘base on standard’ check in process. I did all the details (i think i did pretty well). But, the bomb dropped when i asked for their ID. Since they are foreigner, i asked for their passport, but the guest foolishly said that they got no passport and simply gave me the picture of their stay permit picture on their phone. I just simply took the picture and voila! They are working at the same company as me, and they are the one who is doing the audit thingy, but foolishly reveal their identity upon check in.
I shared this information on the system, stating that these guests are working under same company as us. Well, i do not think it was my mistake, but i felt bad to reveal that person identity.
To be audited is suppose to make me fluttered and nervous, but i just flipped the situation, the auditor became the one who got nervous of an unplanned action that they foolishly did upon arrival.
