wedding planning

Dear Diary,

Why do people act like it is difficult and a lot of work to plan weddings? I have been working on this off and on all day and I already have my dress picked out and my have ideas to show my fiancé for his suit and have my decorations picked out and what flowers I want and pretty much have most of it already planned and it hasn't even been a full day now I am working on picking out a caterer which I have 3 options but I wanna see what they offer before I make a decision.

My dress I found a gorgeous black dress that is going to look amazing with the gothic theme we want.

Flowers I decided on fake ones since real flowers are super delicate and lets be honest fake ones will last so much longer so there is so much I can do with them and it will be so much cheaper than if I used real flowers.

For the tables I plan on using purple table cloths with black runners and in the middle have different dark colored roses and sun flowers surrounding candles, and then flower peddles on the table runners.

For Music we are going to just play music from a playlist and post a link online and let friends and family add to the playlist so it has music that everyone can enjoy.

the only planning I have left is figuring out who I want to cater since we are doing BYOB (bring your own beer) we aren't having a fancy wedding it is just something small but I know everyone likes to drink something different and it would be really expensive trying to get something that everyone will want to drink, I also just need to figure out where we are going to have the wedding since my Fiancé thinks we should do a backyard wedding and I told him it would be nice but we would have to find a house with a big enough backyard so all we would have to do is rent tables and chairs.

Some people it takes them over a year to plan all of this but yet it has taken me less than a day to plan all of this and that is really saying something considering I am easily distracted, so it looks like I will have everything completely planned and ready by October.
