The Song of Achilles II

Dear Diary,

Here it is!!!!

"They were boys—one mortal, one half-god. One swore to be the first hero who is happy, and the other swore to be his reason.

As Thetis, the goddess sea nymph, Achilles’ mother, and the first and very being to deny them, worked on the last stroke of Patroclus’ name on the tomb of her beloved son... It was realized that the promise made may not have been fulfilled, and they may not be the heroes living on earth now, but they would still be together forever like how their ashes were mixed and buried. Like how their names were written side by side on the hill where their tale ended.

They were once boys bound by the Gods' tragic prophecies. They lived and loved, and they will continue to in the underworld, that is, where their hands are joined tightly never to let go again, where the sun pours amidst the darkness of hopelessness and heavy dusk." — KAT
