Dear Diary,
I am a 3rd year nursing student with a mininal exposure to the field due to covid-19 virus. I always wonder why people always come to me or us in times of emergency and blames me or us for not responding quickly. Come on, I am a student! We are still students! And by the way aren't they misunderstanding our course/program? I mean they expect us to admisniter medications without prescriptions. To diagnose sickness based on symptoms, as a nursing student we follow ethico-moral principles on matters involving life,. to be frank "I'm NOT even a doctor fo begin with, we are NOT doctors to begin with but a nursing STUDENT with minimal exposure to the field" (repeat 100x or thousands till you get it 😐). It's a hassle on our part to be blamed on things that are not in line with our chosen field.
