Feedback from Manager July 29, 2021

Dear Diary,

Today I had mid-year assessment. So I had a feedback call with my manager.

He took feedback from my previous supervisor as well. And they all had very good feedbacks. He said I am very good at R&D work. What surprised him was he had given the same task to me and one senior and I finished it before her. And then whatever R&D work he assigns me I do it really early. And I not only listen to my seniors, I give valuable suggestions as well. What I suggested to them day before yesterday will now be used in all further projects from now onwards. The senior managers could see the issue but we're not able to find a solution which I did. And the client were doubting us before, but after he showed them what I did, they were really happy. They did not have any concerns. And it helped them gain confidence in us. Going forward he will add me in other calls as well as I give good ideas. And as he can see I like challenging work, if any R&D or challenging work comes, he will assign it to me. He also said I don't sit idle and always ping others for work. And I have good communication skills as well. He said I am doing better than the batch. And he said whatever time I have lost I will gain it within a year and will be as good as a 4 year experienced guy. This project is good. If I want to do something new. They will assign me that as well.

I am happy I have this kind of work in this project were I can show my calibre. I have solved issues in my roommates projects in half an hour to an hour. 6 times so far. She only asks me when she is out of ideas herself. And those tasks have a completion time of a day or 2. She also got Firefighter award recently and got appreciated. Though I had done it 100%. Her work is not so challenging though.

Regards,

Anne
