Dear Diary, oh my god something happened in my life. Knight, you know the girl I asked out last year and who I am still friends with, asked me totally out of the blue if we could meet at her station on tuesday and that she has a christmas present for me.
This is totally unprecedented I tried to meet her several times this year ans she always said no. The only times I saw her when I was invited to go to the cinema with her best friend. That was in September.
Maybe it's because I gave her a late birthday present at that time. Does she just want to break even? Well I'm getting her something too for tuesday so I guess that won't happen. I will just give her a steam giftcard, since I can't do any fancy shopping during the lockdown. And I will draw her a picture with some of her favorite characters, because I can't get a card to put the giftcard in. That will be more personal anyway.
To be clear I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just excited that something is happening and that she is thinking of me at the very least. These past few weeks I felt like I was completely stuck in my old life, stuck at home without anyone to talk to and that everything I did to connect to people was for nothing. Seems like thats not completely the case. I wonder what will happen, but I'm also a little scared I will screw things up.
