Dear Diary, I’ve never understood why people jump up n down when they get good news. Or clap there hands. Like does that make the good news better? Like why?

Or when someone dies. Like don’t tell me. I get so annoyed. I just see that as attention seeking. Why do people tell you There relative died? Like do you feel better abt there death if I say “oh sorry”. Here’s a good tip. When people are in morning they are easier to manipulate, it’s wayyy easier to win. And to get what you want. There to busy with there emotions to see what’s happening.

Answer my questions somebody.

@in Heaven explained it better. I’m sorry you’ve been told all your life told not to feel, that’s not right. I get that it’s not easy, talking it out with your therapist could sort things out slowly by time. Empathy is a good thing but sometimes it’s a burden, I’m an over empathetic person and it feels like a burden sometimes I want to numb it out, just in moderation is best. I hope you figure things out♥️

Thanks for the insight heaven. And farah. Sociopaths have empathy. But hardly. I cant feel it. I just feel numb. I do have a therapist. But w us its differnt. Its not my fault and how can you teach somone to feel when all there life they havr been told not to! Thanks fir the advice tho. Its not that easy. And i honstly dont wanna feel it. Empathy is useless. But thanks i gusse.

And yeah, some people just do it for empathy.

And for the case when someone dies, someone who is really pained, either stops talking, or there are some people who tell others that, my uncle or granny or father died, he/she is no more. They don't do so because it feels better, or to gain empathy. I think it's hard for them to still believe that their beloved person is no more. So by telling more and more people, they try to calm or tell a part of their brain that the person is no more. It's more to just make themselves believe. And they don't do this by knowing. I mean they do it subconsciously. Also I remind again that I am talking bou geniune people who really care for their loved ones.

When something good happens, our brain release Dopamine, and a few other chemicals. Now our brain takes dopamine as a happiness hormone, and when it is released in too much high levels, our body Don't know how to react. Some people Clap, Some Laugh, Some jump, and some Even dance. You can see their complete bodies reacting. It's like a reward hormone.

Not to sound condescending but pure genuine concern, need therapy to learn empathy. Please do seek help and I mean this with pure intention to help. Take care and seek out help.
