My dad gets on my nerves in many ways, but for this entry I'll just talk about one way he does it.

The man will sit in front of the tv, especially during this quarantine, and look through all the cable channels, On Demand, then Netflix and Hulu. He often doesn't find anything to satisfy him and he will just grumpily go back to cable and turn on Impractical Jokers or freeform or something.

Of course, there is plenty on Netflix and Hulu that he hasn't seen. There's a good portion that he just refuses to watch just because it is 2D animated.

I'm pissed.

There are so many things he could watch if he just opened up to the 2D world! He could watch English dubbed anime.

HE COULD WATCH AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER.

But no. It's 2D. It's a "cartoon."

He always says he likes when me, him, and my mom watch something together and I would definitely watch ATLA again with them.

He won't even give it a chance because of the animation style. It's so sad. If he would just open up and see that the plot is good... Maybe they could even watch my favorite cartoon with me, Steven Universe. My mom has watched a couple of episodes, but that was mainly because we were working together at the time and I didn't give her much of a choice... But she said it was alright and sometimes she makes a reference to fry bits!

I just wish my family wasn't so judgy.
