Dear Diary, 2 days ago I FINALLY started exercising. I did 8 types of squats with barbells (10 reps each). I also concentrated on my arm and back muscles with the barbells afterwards. And ended with 2 reps of 10s planks on the front and both sides of my body. All in all, the workout was 40 minutes long including the warm-up and the cool down. My muscles still hurt today but it's getting better. I was able to get pass the muscle pain for the second day of exercise. My brother said the pain will subside eventually when my body gets used to the exercise. But by then, I must adjust my workout to be more challenging. Being stagnant won't help afterall.
At first, I was hesitant to exercise because I've been doing an 18 hours intermittent fasting for two months now. I wasn't really sure if I could exercise in a fasting state. That was my mindset when I was on my first month of fasting. But now that my body's used to fasting, I feel more energetic. I was also able to do academic work during my fasting state. It doesn't really hinder a person physically or mentally. It actually made me feel better. This is not just a diet anymore but a LIFESTYLE CHANGE for me. ππ
