Dear Diary, worried I have endometriosis, the symptoms from that overlap with a lot of symptoms I have from an chronic illness that can be connected.

I don't want to see my doctor though, I was only there last week (because of the chronic illness I mentioned above) but I'm worried they'll just dismiss me as being a hypochondriac. Other sites say it's harder to diagnose in overweight women so should I lose weight then get it checked?

If I wait will it cause infertility?

I'm so confused and I'm not sure what's best

Cyst as in ovarian cyst, also make sure you're taking good quality vitamins because vitamin deficiency can throw your body out of whack.

Get a new doctor.

Don't worry and go get checked. Ask for a physical paper copy of your bloodwork and most bloodwork has a side by side comparison of your blood and normal blood ranges. You may have a thyroid disorder or a harmless cyst but not to worry as those tend to go away and the thyroid can be treated. But you will never know until you try. Doctors should understand your concern for your health and if they don't please

I should add, my family is riddled with auto-immune disease, including various overlaps. They always treated my mom like a hypochondriac, and she had some of the worst endometriosis the doctors had ever seen, with no symptoms. Everyone in my family has a million aches, pains, fatigues, symptoms, etc ever - but the diseases are real, can be seen in blood tests. Some can even be diagnosed that way.
