Dear Diary,
It’s been a while ain’t it? Lots of stuff has happened. That’s how it’s always with me. If things happen, it happens all at once in a breath’s time.
I had a very good weekend. It was my birthday.
I called Vp on 23rd. It was her bday. We had a good chat. I know we’re not bff’s but we like to keep in touch with each other. We have a lot of common interests in silly things. We both love being single and clueless. I think she’s one of the very few people with whom I can actually just let go and talk absolute silly nonsense.
Later, Deeksha and I went to little Italy. The pasta was amazing. I tried to walk back and got lost. And all the ola drivers kept cancelling on me. Luckily I got an auto before I started panicking. Then the day after, I went to a cafe with Chaitanya and Arihant. I still can’t get the name of the place right. Le something. I thought the onion rings tasted really good. I brought it up when i was talking to mom and she couldn’t believe it. She was kinda disappointed. She asked me, why would you have onion rings on your birthday? Lol, and next comment was gold. I understand. It must be a generational gap thing.
This diwali was different. I went to Arihant’s place. Oh my, I’ve never seen a house with so many cupboards before. I thought the furniture work was really good. Maybe the rooms in my home would look like weird hollow cuboids to them. If we lived in a house like theirs, I can imagine, every sunday, mom making dad climb on the ladder and making him clean and spray each and every cupboard with Hit. Maybe he intentionally decided to reduce furniture in our home to make his own life easier. :P I also ate some stuff for the first time. I liked the sweets a lot.
Life is good I think..I made a lot of decisions over the last 2 weeks. Some really crazy ones. Sometimes I look back and wonder, where does all this courage come from..(mom? :P) Sometimes I’m proud of it, sometimes it scares me. But I don’t regret any. I know, if you decide on something, you have to stick to it, no matter what.
For now, I’ll sign off with this.
PS: The title doesn't make sense, but as Sweety said, it sounds ridiculous and cute. So I'll honour my bday note with the same name xD
Sayonara diary!
