This day was full small, but meaningful to me events.
1) I managed to live by my plan, more or less. It worked great with trying new games!
2) I finished "Separate Ways" dlc from "Resident Evil 4", so not I can free up some space and send the game to "beaten", after a long wait!
3) I cleaned my Infinite Backlog wishlist. I had to do it manually, since it's a one-way sync with Steam, so it can add games from your steam wishlist, but it cannot remove them (unless you buy the game). So, there wasn't a quick way to clean it, and I had to do it one by one. Luckily, I woke up at 5AM+ and had an ample amount of time to organize things, since Instagram doesn't give me much interesting stuff to watch nowadays, and the same goes for Reddit. So, I went to IB and removed everything outdated. I did so, because IB is having a Secret Santa event, and both me and Anya decided to participate, despite our fears that we might fuck up somehow or gift something that the other person won't like...
Anyway, I thought it would be cool to try, and I guess we will try to do our best...
4) I tried "Garden Story" game on my Legion Go. Although I like the visuals of the game - a nice and cozy artistic style - I didn't enjoy the gameplay. All that Stardew Valley type of games are not really my thing. So, during the hour I tried the game, I decided to drop it, even though it has a challenge on IB.
5) Tried "Slime Rancher". Well, after an hour I felt a bit less antagonistic towards the game. However, I still can't quite figure out if I should play it or not. I'll think on it, but at the moment I'm mostly inclined towards the negative option.
6) I tried another game, "The Last Campfire". Luckily enough, both Anya and I liked the game! I thought it would be another disappointment, but the game had "Ori" and "Jusant" vibes. So far during the testing hour I managed to finish the first zone, gathering all the lost forlorns. Somehow this game motivates me to find them, unlike many others, where I just want to beat the game as fast as I can and skip optional zones. So, hope the game lasts for us. I'm really happy that I liked at least one game, and it's not that I'm denying everything.
7) Anya tried another game, this time my childhood's one - "Pilot Brothers". As of now Anya already got further, than I ever did when I was a kid. However, the game is not really logical, so you can't just "think and get it". I wonder if she'll continue playing or not, we'll see.
Also, right now Anya started pushing me in the direction of buying a new aparrment, and she and mother are going to look for some "under construction" buildings and bring me some "business plan". And I'm pretty scared of that. Because sure, having "our" apartment is better than living in mother's old one, but it comes with so much downsides!
First, we will need a mortgage, and that means being kind of like a slave for many years. If I get fired, or something else happens, we will be in a huge trouble.
Not to mention the fact that it will take many years to even own the apartment with no renovations done, and then we'll have to spend a lot of money on renovations, find the people who will do them, etc. It sound like a huge pain in the ass. Also, we don't even know where we will live when the war is over, so what if we'll have to leave? This apartment won't bring much money, not at all close to what it will cost us. I'm really skeptical about it. I also wouldn't mind a new apartment, but it looks like huge pain. We'll see what business plan Anya will bring, but so far feels more scary than exciting.
The last thing that happened today, was the arrival of my new hat. You know, the "cowboy-like" hat. I ordered it because I planned to use it while testing, so maybe I would feel like a noir investigator and it would feel less painful to test and look for hidden bugs. Idk if that will work, but the hat looks pretry funny. Although I must admit, it suits Anya's Rabbit - Sunshine. She is not a fan of rabbits, but she ordered one oddful one, even though we haven't noticed any problems with him (for Anya the rabbit is a she, but for me it's a he, so in the end rabbit is kind of genderfluid :D)
That would be all for now.
