As wicked as these thoughts are, I have resigned to the shades of living. As I learn the rots of the world, I am disabled before the black, the white and greys of countries. My daily steps are a peaceful walk in a kingdom. My visit to doctors are free. My parents never had to pay more than a couple thousand for my education. The law will protect me- at the very least against what other parts of the world doesnt.
I must admit, even then, my country have far more mountain to overcome. It is indeed peaceful but people are seething ever steadily. My generation are leaving the country. Once you are born here, nothing can enable you to see the ocean and taste different cuisine. Well unless you are born in the upper class, who are usually the noble and generationally big pockets. Therefore, my friends are crossing seas to gain what their birthplace cannot offer.
However, I assure you, my folks still deeply love their home. I am part of the half who chose to stay. I stayed for the love of peace and love of what I do. I can write, I can read and I can contemplate, what can be more precious than a power to think. But, I will not look away from the rage thats brewing in me. I am infinitely angry at what our elders have reduced our system to. With a flame in me, I wish I will never have to choose between here and foreign land.
In spite of it all, we are thriving considering few of other countries. I am a insignificant person from a weak country, so I can do naught but only watch behind screen as countries burn cities, incriminate women, chase neighbours and demand injustice. There is a pandemic of isolation. The walls are growing taller. The violence is looming closer. We are forgetting that despite colours, language, race, weath, disabilities, opinions and education, we are all flesh and bones. I hope countries realise soon that no one can stand alone, not even a country.
"If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?"
