Dear Diary,

My body, in its endless quest to keep things interesting, has decided that breathing through both nostrils is a luxury I no longer deserve. We’re down to one functioning airway and, frankly, even that one’s hanging by a thread. Probably Perennial Allergic Rhinitis—or, in layman’s terms, “year round nose allergy to make you miserable.”

Normally I can pass out with this charming nasal blockage like a half-asleep Victorian ghost, but tonight? No.

Tonight my sinuses decided to stage a full-blown coup, and to top it off, I’m hosting a migraine party in my skull. Nothing like a pounding headache to remind you how great life is when your face feels like it’s being remodeled by angry construction workers.

So, good night—for now. Please send prayers, sympathy cards. Or maybe just some decongestants. I’m not picky.

Yours in nasal misery,
