Nighttime Rituals

Evening - the time for melatonin, calming pills, and a warm cup of herbal tea. The world outside grows quieter, matching the rhythm of my slowing thoughts.

I wrote a poem, poured my emotions onto the page, letting them settle like ripples on still water. Now, I lie back, breathing in the weight of the day, embracing the fullness of my schedule. Busy, exhausting, but mine. And in this moment of stillness, I let it all sink in.

I hope I’ll manage to sleep a little longer than usual tonight. I wish I could sleep less and still wake up feeling fully rested. May my mind find peace, my body find rest, and my dreams be kind tonight. Good night.
