Dear Diary,
Today was a rollercoaster of emotions! It all started when I realized that my little hamster, Brownie, was missing from his cage. Panic set in as I frantically searched every nook and cranny of the house. I checked behind the sofa, under the kitchen table, and even inside my shoes—no sign of Brownie anywhere.
Just when I was about to give up hope, I decided to take one last look under my bed. And there he was, curled up in a cozy little nest he had made out of some stray socks and a piece of paper. Relief washed over me as I scooped him up and placed him back in his cage, safe and sound.
Brownie seemed completely unfazed by the whole ordeal, happily munching on a sunflower seed as if nothing had happened. I, on the other hand, felt like I had aged a few years in those frantic moments. Lesson learned: always double-check that the cage is securely closed!
