Great habits equal great life, terrible habits equal terrible life. People with terrible habits cannot have a great life, people with great habits cannot have a terrible life. That is why if you want to have a great life and do not want to have a terrible life, you have to change your terrible habits for great habits, let go of the old habits which are terrible and replace it with new habits which are great. People don't do
that because they keep holding onto the old ones which are terrible. And the reason why they keep holding onto the old ones which are terrible is because they don't ever want to let them go. The problem is, if they truly want to move on, if they truly want to progress through life, they need to let them go, they need to let all of them go. Because only by letting them go, they can truly grow. You can only
grow by applying great habits to your life. If you are not a reader, become one, and start reading fifteen or twenty minutes a day. If you are not a learner, become one, and learn something new every single day. If you are not a singer, become one, and sing your favorite songs every single day. If you are not an athlete, become one, and exercise thirty minutes a day. If you are not an actor, become one, and practice acting in front of a mirror thirty minutes a day. If you're not a walker,
become one, and walk outside thirty minutes a day. If you are not a writer, become one, and write anything for 45 minutes a day. If you are not a painter, become one, and learn how to draw. That's the only solution. The only solution there is. The only way you can replace the old with the new. Many people can't see this and that's why they are stuck with the old instead of being set free with the new.
Because what's old makes them feel comfortable and does not make them feel uncomfortable. It's all about acquiring a new skill, to become good at something else. To become good at something that can literally change your entire life. Anyone can become a painter, anyone can become a writer, anyone can lose weight by exercising daily or by going on daily walks, anyone can become a world class learner by
learning something new every single day of his life, or a very good singer or an actor. It's not impossible. It's actually possible. Many people just can't see this, because they are stuck. Imagine being stuck and doing absolutely nothing with your life in three years. That's exactly what happens, if you keep sticking to the old. You don't move on, you don't progress anywhere. That's precisely why bad habits are the way they are, incredibly addictive. They can cost you your entire life.
If you do them and keep doing them excessively. That is why its replacement is very important, because you can only use great habits to build your life. You never know what can happen. You can discover you are really great or amazing at something. You can discover you are a very talented or gifted or remarkable writer, and you actually
know how to write. It's not impossible at all, because it's very much possible. It's not that it can't be done, for it can be done. That's all.
