And the spiral continues. Down and down we go, me myself and I, in a dizzying waltz. Hand in hand, a dance of war and contradiction. One step forward, two steps back, and we spin and spin and spin and spin and spin. Cold wind passes through us, dark spires pierce our bodies. Curtains of darkness plunge into us. And we spin and spin and spin and spin. The moon cries misty tears for us. The sun fixes it's burning eye on our falling form. And the stars and the earth and the universe stare in disconcerting coldness. And we spin. And spin. And spin. And spin.
Where my hand connects with mine, a stillness I have never known covers every inch of my skin. Peace, knowledge of a neverending, all encompassing, beautiful, and silent nothingness. And we spin, and spin, and spin, and spin, and spin, and-
Into the ocean we plunge. And we spin. Icy water fills my lungs. And we spin. She and I spill into the sea, numbness tingles through my hands. And we spin.

The sun and the moon close their eyes in reverence. My sepulchre lies there by the sea. And I spin.
