Grades 5-6 in Dumarao....

In 1998, because both of my parents were jobless, we transferred from the city (Las Piñas) to the countryside (Dumarao). It is the hometown of my father. We started to reside in this place during the time of President Joseph Estrada.

From urban life to rural life, life would never be the same again. From being an office worker, Tatay engaged in agriculture (small fruit farm, poultry house & fish pond). From being an inspector of electronic products, Nanay engaged in business (ice candy, peanuts & small sari-sari store).

Those were the times when I realized I need to help our parents. So aside from helping to keep our little store, I played less & studied more. Thanks God for I became the Top 1 of Grade 5 (Class 1999) & the Valedictorian of Grade 6 (Batch 2000) of Dumarao Central School when the President of our country was Estrada.
