Through the looking glass

He's not mad, he is not insane. He only pretends to be mad, he only pretends to be insane. Because he has to pretend to be mad, and because he has to pretend to be insane. For, if he doesn't pretend to be mad, if he doesn't pretend to be insane, his entire world is going to collapse on him and so will collapse the entire world of many others known and unknown who foolishly followed him, who foolishly trusted him, and those who foolishly stood by him. He's as guilty as all of them are. He's as disgusting as all of them are. He is not an honest man, he is not a nice man, he is not a SAINT.
