Dear Diary, the time and hard work we put in, all worth it. The room looks nice and more functional, the damage is fixed. It's perfect. But I noticed it's hard on the body at our age and I'm no longer enthusiastic about reno like I used to be. Not like we need to do more reno anyway, just the usual house maintenance.
Most likely the last house we will ever own. If my SO leaves this world before I do, I plan to sell it and spend the rest of my life travelling or at least move around, not settling anywhere longer than 6 months. I have been making preparation for that. Nothing ever happens exactly as planned, but I 'm preparing nonetheless.
