Almost midnight. All alone in the house. Listening to a playlist which makes you feel like you're a fairy in a medieval Arthurian romance. Playing chess online every now and then because yes, I finally decided to learn it. Thanks to Rollo for that. Nah, he didn't teach me. His interests just made me interested in them, too. I mean, I've always wanted to learn how to play chess, actually, the fancy to do it just never hit me until recently when I was missing him. And guess what?

I want to play with Rollo so bad but I figured it would be embarrassing. I don't know how long he's been playing it but I have a feeling he can easily pulverise my noob arse.
I wonder what his rating is…
On "chess.com", under the 10-minute category, my rating is still around 700. Sometimes, I get so petty when it's apparent that the opponent is going to win, so I leave the game as is and let the remaining time pass with zero moves from me anymore. It's absolutely childish but who cares. If you're fortunate, the opponent gets impatient and resigns, and you get the win. But others (like myself) don't mind waiting at all. Like with my last match just a short while ago. The time limit I had left was 6 minutes and there was no hope for me anymore (one more move and the opponent gets the trophy), so out of annoyance, I just opened another website and read some stuff. The bastard really waited it out and won. On time. Haha. Although you lost, there's a little satisfaction in not letting them win by checkmate. Like I said: petty.
I might continue reading "Katia" by Leo Tolstoy later. I'm not very interested in it but it's just a short book and I don't have the mental energy to read something long for now because I already have "The Outlander" (by Diana Gabaldon) to finish.
Ah, I want to video call with Lancelot. It's 5pm in Germany right now. What could the idiot be doing to not reply to my message ..
