Dear Diary,

I learned how to cook north Indian type vegetables + roti after my job as I noticed how others cooked. After that I had practice during Covid. I can say I am good at cooking. In my first attempt at making roti, I made a perfect dough and rolled the perfect round rotis which turned into beautiful fulkas. My friends were impressed and told me that I am really talented to be doing it so well in 1st attempt because even after making for years still they can't make such perfectly round rotis..  This was because I noticed how they do it, so I just copied it, and also watched 1 or 2 tutorials. Anyways, I am going to marry a Haryanvi guy and they have the blandest food among all over India. Their diet is mostly Milk, Ghee, Roti. And I am Bengali and we have the tastiest foods among all over India. Only Punjabi food can compete with Bengali and they also don't have as many varieties. Anyways, worst part is you can't get that taste in any Bengali restaurant also. So, only Bengali sweet is famous. So, I have decided to learn Bengali cooking, the problem is they are difficult to make . I have a list of 10 dishes I will learn in the next 8 days from my maid. After that I will shift to Kolkata. So, Bae is very excited to learn that I would be able to cook authentic Bengali food.

Regards,

Anne
