Dear Diary,


I decided to start doing cosplay.


It was my first-time last month when I cosplayed Chika Fujiwara from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War anime at Cosplay Carnival 2022. Even tho we weren't able to get into the main venue because they couldn't accommodate the rest of us anymore, I still had so much fun! I got to meet so many cosplayers and took pictures with the anime characters I know. Many people asked for pictures with me too!


I know I may sound like a kid right now, but I've always wanted to cosplay since I was in high school. I couldn't do it before because I didn't have the money yet. But now, I finally made it happen after so many years!


I've been an anime fan for so long, and cosplaying is like another form of love for it. Getting to dress up as your favorite characters and making them come to life through you just fills your heart in a special way. I haven't felt this happy doing something for a long time, so I actually plan to do more of it. Next month, I'll be going to another event as Eri from MHA, and I'm so fucking excited! I hope this time, I'd get to take more pictures with the other cosplayers and become friends with them too.


I'm gonna be honest about one thing, tho. The biggest downside of this hobby is that it's too expensive. But whatever! I got the money, and as long as I'm happy, there's nothing much to worry about.
