Dear Diary,
Earlier in the year, I'm not sure during scheduling or trying to switch a class, my school counselor told me I only needed one English credit and one Math credit, that being said as someone that never cared for school, I didn't put any effort at all into my other classes.
I pretty much did that through out the entire year only to recently find out that I might not graduate high school because it turns out I need 1 more elective credit. They really fucked me over on this and I didn't know until last week when I got called into the principals office to speak with her and the counselor about my grades.
Since I have 3 electives, they said I needed to choose one and try my best to get whatever score they said I needed to obtain a passing average for the year. The obvious option was either psychology or History 101. I figured I'd do psychology but the teacher doesn't give that many assignments, doesn't really care to let anyone catch up and I already have too many failed big grades to make up for since he doesn't give that many assignments. All that being said, History 101 is what I have to do now. From the looks of it I'll need at least a 101% last quarter of the year to pass the class.
Qtr 1: 52.46%
Qtr 2: 27.65%
Qtr 3: 57.71%
I contacted my teacher via email and asked if I could make up the work I didn't do. If he doesn't say yes I might really be screwed.
If he does than it'll lower that percentage requirement but still extremely hard to obtain a passing average.
They told me about the misunderstanding with such short notice and literally screwed me out of my diploma. At this point I'm likely going to drop out after 3rd quarter, there's absolutely no point in continuing anymore when defeat is the only outcome.
