Dear Diary, first a little addendum. I remembered a reason why Knight might have been more interested in talking to me. At the beginning of the month there was the lunar new year or Tet how its called in Vietnamese. I knew that it's a big deal in Vietnam (and all of South East Asia and East Asia I think) so when we chatted on February 1st I decided to wish her a happy lunar new year / Tet.
She seemed happy to talk about it. Her Vietnamese friends celebrated it the day before actually, because thats when the new year starts in VN time. She showed me a pic of their food. There were s lot of dishes I didnt know. Like banh tet which is rice cakes in banana leaves with beag inside. Or caramellized beaf was there too. That looked super fancy. So yeah maybe thats why she was more interested to talk to me. I was actually a bit nervous to ask her about Tet, because I didnt want to look ignorant aboug something she obviously cares so much about. Seems like it was ok though.
At the end of march we are going into the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie. Good thing knight activated the e-mail notifications for the ticket preorders, since there is only a single showing with subtitles. Almost all the tickets were gone in an hour, but we still got some. They were expensive too. It sucks living in a country where people clearly understimate the popularity of nerd culture.
Another thing I'm excited about is Elden Ring. It looks like the perfect video game to me honestly. A big world that is still well designed and full of meaningfull secrets. But since I'm a Nintendo gamer, I dont have a PS or Xbox or powerful PC to run it. So either my plan to play it with Knight on her PS4 will work or maybe I will buy it on Xbox to play it at my one male friends house. Either way I would really like to play it.
Yesterday I met up with Belle again for the first time in over a year. It was really fun honestly, she is still her old crazy self. But it seems she has severely cut down on the conspiracy theories. She is even vaccinated. I think what happened wad both of our faults though. We maneuvered us into bad discussion positions. A lot of the time she was being provocative on purpose I think and I didnt realize it.
The evening was fun. She was looking for pickled peppers. The day before she had even taken a bus at night to go to a different shop to look for them but didnt find them. So today we looked for them in the big city and were successful. They way she craved them was almost like a pregnant woman, but I'm sure thats not the case.
She said she broke up with someone recently. They never were officiallly in a RS but it felt like it she said. But then it got pretty toxic. Thats all she said maybe she will reveal more about it. It seemed like she thought I dont want to hear about it. Maybe because I once said I dont want to hear about her Tinder stories. But that was only because it sucked to hear from someone who gets a million matches and then gives her number to obviously terrible dudes. But now I dont care about that anymore. I'm done with apps anyway I think. And hearing about hee Ex BF is totally different anyway. She told me about her other Ex a million times too and that was fine too.
Anyway next week we will probably go into somewhere with nature again. Maybe another forest walk at night haha. That was always fun.
Oh and she said I lost a lot of weight 😂 She probably misremembers I only lost a bit I think.
Yeah thats pretty much it. I'm also pretty bummed out about Russia attacking Ukraine. Why do some people want war so bad? It's literally one of the worst things ever. And what for? To restore some territory from 100 years ago. Fuck Putin.
