Delayed periods~October 16, 2021

It's super frustrating when you don't know what the actual problem is! My periods have been weird from last year. I did a pregnancy test; negative. Then I did an ovulation test; negative as well. What the hell????

I'll be making an appointment with a GP today or tomorrow. But I'll be getting scheduled next month or December. I don't know how I'm gonna pass through this guessing time until then. It's super frustrating.

At the same time, super scared about the results. I think I have PCOS/PCOD. If so, that's another huge pain in the ass. But all of my symptoms point to that.

Tests from january says that everything is normal and doctor said it must be stress that must have caused my periods to delay. I was like 😒. Seriously?!!!!

But she had left out ultrasound and another test. Damn! If only I had asked for second opinion earlier. A lady, I came across in a premom app, said that the gynecologists are usually lazy at times so they say everything is caused by stress and shush us. I'm beginning to believe what she said now!

😤😤😤😤🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🥴🥴🥴🥴

Also, if you do want to see one, it’s good to do your research beforehand as there may be some dodgy ones out there. “A professional naturopath is someone who has completed, at a minimum, an Advanced Diploma in either Naturopathy or Health Science, is registered with a professional body and is insured appropriately. Usually, a naturopath will have completed a Bachelor-level qualification. Most countries have professional associations for naturopaths. These associations will have a set of standards of practice and codes of ethics that naturopaths must abide by.”

@Theonewithapen & @Ratz - Here’s the best description I could find. “Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to wellness. Naturopathy supports a person to live a healthy lifestyle. The foundations of naturopathy are based on the importance of a healthy diet, clean fresh water, sunlight, exercise and stress management. Naturopathy aims to educate the person to look after their own health and the health of their family, minimising symptoms of any illness, supporting the body’s capacity to heal, and balancing the body so that illness is less likely to occur in the future. A range of therapies are used to support the person. Therapies may include nutritional medicine, diet advice, herbal medicine, homeopathy, lifestyle advice, and tactile therapies, such as massage, acupressure or Bowen technique.” If it doesn’t make sense, or you want to know more…you can always do a Google Search :)

Yeah it would be great if you explained about a naturopath? I'm hearing it for the first time though

@Love Li Notes, can you tell me about what a naturopath is?

Hmm, have you ever thought about seeing a Naturopath? I was a bit skeptical at first about booking an appointment. But I ended up finding one that I really loved! It was great that she was so passionate and knowledgeable when it came to how our bodies work.

@LoveLiNotes No i don't think so. I'm the last girl in my family though. My other girl cousins have kids already so i don't know whether they went through these things.

That's such a pain the ass , you're so right. I have a 75 days cycle which never stays the same and my hormone levels were just fine, couldn't find the actual problem at all. I get horrible cramps :// , I hope you make sure to go through all the tests until you're satisfied. These days, doctors are just unbelievable. Stay well🌼~
