Dear Diary,
It is really early in the morning here. I can’t sleep!
One of Kemper’s friends is staying with us for awhile. I don’t know for how long but it is okay with me either way. He is also in the club so when Kemper is out of town so is his friend.
My mom should be having the baby any day now. She said that dad is with her and they are just waiting for the day to come. She is due on the 15th.
They have names picked out already but don’t know the sex yet. Taylor Rose (dad’s mom’s name is Rose and my mom’s dad’s name was Taylor) for a girl and Jameson Corbin (dad’s middle name is Corbin and great grandpa’s name is Jameson). Using family names is a thing that my family does. I like both of the names, can’t wait to hear if it is a Taylor or a Jamie.
I’m named after my mom, great grandma on dad’s side, and my mom’s mom. They couldn’t decide on one first name so I have two. My brother is named after my dad and my dad’s dad.
My dad’s family names get weirder and weirder the farther back you go. His side comes from wealth and a lot of their names are strange to me. Like Sterling, or Graham, or Niles. I even think there was a Wolfgang in there somewhere when I was looking at his family tree.
One of the cool things about my dads family is they have a family tree book and the names dates back to the 1500’s. I have only seen it once but it was so cool to look at it.
My ankle is healing up nice from surgery. I have a boot on so I can walk around on my own now.
