Dear Diary,

It takes a lot to love someone who's never been loved the right way. It takes so much time and patience. You have to be willing to work with your person, to teach them things they've never been taught and to love them like nobody else ever has.

You have to communicate and you have to be willing to fight. It's a lot but it's worth it if you truly love them unconditionally.
