Dear Diary,

Uneventful night. They are trying to crack down on overtime so tonight's my last 12 hour shift until next week. Too bad my last 12 is also the last day the fair is supposed to be in town. Not that I'd have the money to go.

Kind of spent more then I could going to a place called Game Night. Money well spent. Me, my brother and my cousin gave this vr game a try. It's supposed to be a 4v4 kind of king of the hill shooter but they only had room for one cage system so they normally just do 1v1 or 2v2 matches. Either way that game or zombyte are fun as shitaki mushrooms.

I love their rig. They went all out. They have the futuristic gun set up. The vr headset. A vest that reacts to the game and connects to a wire in the cage to make your character move as you move. It's....amazing.

They have a racing game as well. Only two players for now since it was all the room they had. The way it's set up there's a vehicle frame sitting on a hydraulic system and fans connected to the top that blow air at you as you race, changing to accommodate the direction you are going and the speed. And my god. The speed. You are going hundreds of miles a second. The car frame has all the controls you need to immerse yourself in the vr race. Gas and stop peddles. Wheel. Nitros control on the wheel. Whole nine yards. On top of that the frame is lifted off the ground and into the air. Once the race starts and you have the headset on it mimics what you do in the game. Someone crash into you? Feeling that. Crash into a wall going 500+ definitely feeling that. Once you get into it and get settled you can really lose yourself in the race. With the frame and the fans you can really feel your heart pumping. Every drift. Every jump. Every paint swap. There's always a line to play it though.

Definitely going back next time I have a day off and the money
