Dear Diary,
Home reminds me of a horror movie setting. Not my house mind you...I mean the town I live in. We have two fires around here. The past week we've been covered in smoke. Doesn't help that the temp has also been above 90 off and on for about two weeks if not longer.
You get use to it I guess.
That being said. Went out for a run the other night. An actual run. First time I've been able to do so in a very long time. Took me less then 10 minutes to go a mile. It was fun if not exhausting. Maybe I'll eventually work my way back up to running two miles without slowing or stopping.
Side note. The town remains dark in some areas. Lights are up in the more populated spots but areas like the run trail on the edge of town don't have them much. Easy to forget just how dark it can get.
