Dear Diary, it's looking good. A few more weeks and hopefully reno will be completed. Then I can start working on the minor repair, it's no rush, I can wait until next year or even indefinitely, but I want to get it done in case something else comes up.
My creative project starts taking shape as well. Had a few problems recently and it's mostly fixed now, just a few more little details remaining which I can overlook but I decided to work on them as well. A lot of times the things I chose to overlook are the ones that caused problems later on, so it's safer to give all aspects of the project the same amount of attention they need. This is true with everything else in my life as well.
A friend of mine is struggling. I'm hoping that we can meet soon so I can see for myself how she is doing. Calls and texting don't really tell much. She is a strong person, smart and talented, and has a supportive family, so I believe she'll manage. I don't really have anything significant to help in her struggle and I know she doesn't expect anything from me, but it does make me feel somewhat low because she has given me so much. Someday, someday that will change. My time will come. I am working on it.
