So I was watching an episode of Americas Got Talent. This very sweet beautiful but extremely thin girl with short hair went up on stage. She goes by the name Nightbirde. She proceeded to tell her story battling cancer for a few years and still pursuing her dream to sing. 
She said "I want people to know that I'm more than the bad things that happen to me". She had me in awe. I watched her sing, her voice is hauntingly beautiful and fragile. 
Needless to say she wowed all the judges and moved some to tears. They were impressed by her shear resiliency. She said something that deeply resonated in my soul.
"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy"

It's so true. I want to write on the bathroom mirror. Acknowledging the good in your life is so powerful.

Hey, I've heard her song too, indeed all the songs of her. She is really sweet and finds. My dad passed of cancer too, so I kinda could relate to her feelings. But she is really courageous and her voice, the lyrics, they are heaven.
