Dear Diary, the last few days I've been using dating apps more frequently again. Literally swiping through thousands of profiles on Tinder, OkCupid and Bumble. The result is... almost nothing. One match on OkCupid, but she hasn't answered like most girls.
My intro wasn't super creative, I just asked how she is doing. Couldn't really think of anything non-cringey. Her bio said that she likes to go out on rainy days. Should I say, yeah sometimes I do that too. Or aren't you afraid pf getting struck by lightning? Everything I could say is either boring or dumb.
Looking at girls through the lense of these apps is really bad for self-esteem and your view on women. They are all so samey and I can't even find anyone I would actually want to date anymore. Looking at fake looking modelphotos fpr hours is mind numbing. My kind of woman just doesn't seem to use these apps.
They used to be everywhere at least when I was in school, but now they are super rare and are all already in relationships. They have made their experiences and don't need just another guy like me. They don't even need to use dating apps, because they are experienced enough to know that they don't need them.
I'm never going to have that young love I've wanted for over 10 years now. Everybody has moved on. And if I can't have that, I don't think I can be in love anymore.
