[IS CONCEPT WEEK 09A]
Hello, on the previous week's diary, I told you about my personal roadmap. On this week's diary, I will elaborate more about it!
As I stated before, my plan after graduating is to apply for a job as a system analyst, but not just a system analyst, I want to work in a IT consultant firm. I made this choice because I was inspired by the alumnus that I interviewed before. The work seems so fun with new challenges and full of "experiment"! I am also interested in being a UX researcher in a startup business.
As for my master's degree, since both of my parents want me to continue it abroad, I plan to do so. I want to take a master degree in Kyoto University, Japan, majoring in business, simply because I think Japan has amazing innovations for even the smallest things in life. And the topic that I'll write in regards to my thesis would probably revolves around creative business or a business that provides creative inventions.
After completing my master's degree, I want to come back to Indonesia and eventually build my own business. I'm still not really sure what my business will be, but I will try to sort it out slowly. After all, I don't know how the 'condition' in Indonesia in the future would be, what problem that the society will face, etc. I think those factors will shape the purpose of my future business and thus, I am still in the process of finding it out.

Also, the topic for my final degree project would probably be "The Analysis and Design of Information Systems in Creative Business". Hence, I will choose Information Systems Management Laboratory (Lab MIS) because it specializes in overseeing a variety of Information Systems expertise research starting from strategic aspects, project management, improving business process performance with IS / IT support to evaluating IT performance in supporting organizations. The elective courses that I will take to support my final project are Risk Management and IT Quality, Digital Brand Management, and also Internet of Things. My target score for those courses is B or above, I won't be too much of an idealistic over my score because I know it'll be very challenging. And finally, to manifest the dream goals I have, I will join TDC as my UKM. I will also participate in various workshop about business and IT, also internships that would surely improve both my hard and soft skills.
