[ISCONCEPT - WEEK 07]

I have an assignment to interview an alumni from Information System Department that having a job that related to my future dream job. After i search an alumni profile on a website and a lot of platform finally i find Mba Friska from Information System 2013 and just graduated at 2017. I decide to asking her about her job (Business Analyst) and what the pros and cons of their profession that will help me to reach my dream goal.
She work as a business analyst at that company for 2 years untill now.
Mba Friska said working as a Business Anlayst it's all about business that related to the company business and her job is to analyze it. She worked at manufacturial sector, to reach the company goal all department on that company have a job and she as a business analyst must know about all process that each department do. She must to know all the problem and anlayze it why it can be happen and find a solution to solve it.
She said that the pros about being a business analyst she know everything about the company one level from another, she learn a lot and have a lot of connection not just from internal but external too. A lot of people depends on her and trust her.
Beside that she also said the cons is if she taking a wrong solution it can make the company incured a loss. A lot of time spend if we can't find the problems from the beginning and made a lot of people dissapointed to us.
The conclusion about being a Business Analyst we must careful, we can't take the conclusion from a problem directly, we must to learn and analyze the point of the problem we must concern all the process and know the impact. Cause if we decided a thing the positive and negative impact will always be there, but go back to the vision and mission that company business has. As long as the negative impact does not really affect the company business, it can still be handled and telorated.
[ISCONCEPT - 08 WEEK]
For the next 5 years my dream goal after i graduated from ITS i want to continue my study to achieve my master degree at overseas.
I also want to have a job at one of the best startup company in Indonesia and being a business analyst like i mention before.
